DDL moves onto Death Valley!

After a few days exploring the Salton Sea and the surrounding desert, we have moved onto to Beatty, NV the gateway to Death Valley!  We will stay in Beatty for 11 days to take in as many trails, mines, salt flats, craters and peaks as we can! - We will shortly be joined by Hanna Vaughan and two new additions to the project Adrien Segal and Noah Sakamoto.

Adrien Segal attended California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA for her undergraduate degree, receiving a BFA in Furniture Design in 2007. In addition to teaching, she pursues a creative practice out of her studio on the former Naval Base in Alameda, CA. Adrien recently held Artist Residencies at Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland and will be spending the month of May in Homer, Alaska at the Bunnell Art Center.

Noah Sakamoto was born and raised in Oakland, California. He attended the California College of Arts and Crafts, earning his BFA in 2007.
